Meet Joe - The Voice of Jupiter Water Tours

BIO

Joe Smith is a Florida native, born and raised in Tampa. And yes, that’s his real name… He is a 20 year Veteran of the US Army retiring back home to Florida in 2011. He has been living and working in the dive industry in West Palm Beach/Jupiter area for nearly two years and enjoys being part of the community.  

Joe has a true appreciation for nature and the preservation of the beauty of Jupiter, giving his time to beach cleanups and lending his talents to events like the Palm Beach Dive Association Fundraiser as the MC for the event.

 

Q&A's

1) What do you love most about Jupiter?
I love the laid back beach feel of Jupiter and being so close to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. I grew up near the water or being in the water as a kid and it is where I find peace and happiness.

2) Why are you a part of Jupiter Water Tours? Why did you start this company?
I am part of Jupiter Water Tours because I can be a bit of a goofball and just really enjoy having fun, meeting new people, and sharing what our beautiful home has to offer with guests to our area. 

3) What do you want a customer to be thinking after they've completed a tour down the Intercoastal?
When people leave our boat, I want them to think "I had such a great time on that tour, that guy Joe should be in movies!" ;) Honestly, I want them think that they can't wait to bring their friends... because the tour wasn't just about seeing a bunch of  big fancy houses, it was about their being treated like family and experiencing a one of a kind fun and relaxing tour. 

4) Fun one, Which three words describe you best?
Well I think I already mentioned goofball... so the other two would be genuine and passionate... I mean, this is the sexy red boat.
