We don’t just focus on the lifestyles of the rich and famous on our tours. Thanks to our scuba diving experience and marine knowledge, we can intelligently share information about local terrestrial and marine wildlife. We limit our tours to 24 guests aboard our beautiful Kyalami to provide a more intimate cruise experience.

The Kyalami is a Coast Guard certified, 40ft Burpee with a brand new 500 hp Cterpillar engine (powerful, clean, quiet!), 9 Speaker Bluetooth compatible Sound System with Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, Up to date First Aid Gear on board including two Oxygen bottles and AED (Defibrillator), and all of our boat captains are Coast Guard certified.

Jupiter Water Tours Captain
Capt. Robert Carlisle
Captain Robert Carlisle joined the Jupiter Water Tours crew in 2022 as our Friday and Saturday Captain. Captain Bob is a highly motivated and dynamic Captain with more than 25 years experience as a professional operator of a variety of commercial vessels, and a maritime educator, servicing primarily in Marland and flrlida.
Now a Flirda resdent, Captain Bob enjoys hiking state parks and crusing the Intraacoastal with our guests. He’s known for his famou water cruise “Happy Birthday” serenades.

Sophia Barber
Sophia is a native of Colorado and recently moved to Jupiter, Florida to pursue a degree in interior design at Palm Beach State College. She is passionate about incorporating numerous outdoor activities in her life including working in the beautiful Jupiter waterways. She loves working on the Kyalami, giving tours on the intercostal, along with meeting new people.
Coming from the Midwest, she delights in learning and experiencing all about the South Florida lifestyle and the local community in Jupiter. Sophia has aspirations to obtain her scuba certification, and not only increase her knowledge in working on the water, but add to her skill as a tour guide and future diver.

Janine Ferguson Chouiniere
As a West Palm Beach native, Janine began enjoying the beauty and thrill of the local waterways at a young age. She now works on the Kyalami as a dive guide and deck hand, and also has her captain's license. With her “native” knowledge of this area, she is a perfect fit as tour guide for Jupiter Water Tours. If not at work on the Sexy Red Boat, she will often get her water fix by kayak. She is especially fond of manatee sightings, gators, and river otters, and still gets excited by the magical view of the Jupiter Lighthouse.

Joe Hackett
After retiring from a 30 year career in law-enforcement, Capt. Joe knew what he wanted to do next. Pursuing his lifelong passion, he earned his USCG Masters license in 2008 and sought his 2nd career on the water. He has been driving professional dive and sightseeing charter boats ever since.
Joe is a certified Master Diver and regularly dives aboard Kyalami. As much as he enjoys diving on our beautiful Jupiter reefs, at a moments notice you might find him scuba diving in some remote location anywhere from the Caribbean to Southeast Asia.
Joe loves his south Florida lifestyle - driving boats, scuba diving and deep sea fishing and agrees with Ferris Bueller that life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it!
